I hope the new version I am reading about can be upgraded to from the old, as I can't wait to install these and get rid of JomComment.

Hi, I just want to congratulate the developers for this excellent extension. I am currently using it in my website and it looks good. The only downside is that it cannot work in uncategorized articles but that's a minor problem. Installation and configuration took 10 minutes. This extension should be part of Core Joomla. Thanks a lot.

The JComments can work in uncategorized articles - you need to use {jcomments on} tag for enabling comments in certain article.

You have to enable Autopublish feature for each usergroup (JComments - Settings - Permissions).
