Joomla! is a free open source framework and content publishing system designed for quickly creating highly interactive multi-language Web sites, online communities, media portals, blogs and eCommerce applications.

Joomla! LogoJoomla! provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface that simplifies the management and publishing of large volumes of content including HTML, documents, and rich media. Joomla! is used by organisations of all sizes for Public Web sites, Intranets, and Extranets and is supported by a community of thousands of users.

With a fully documented library of developer resources, Joomla! allows the customisation of every aspect of a Web site including presentation, layout, administration, and the rapid integration with third-party applications.

Joomla! has a rich heritage and has been crowned CMS king many times over. Now with more power under the hood, Joomla! is shifting gear and provides developer power while making the user experience all the more friendly. For those who always wanted increased extensibility, Joomla! 1.5 can make this happen.

A new framework, ground-up refactoring, and a highly-active development team brings the excitement of 'the next generation CMS' to your fingertips. Whether you are a systems architect or a complete 'noob' Joomla! can take you to the next level of content delivery. 'More than a CMS' is something we have been playing with as a catchcry because the new Joomla! API has such incredible power and flexibility, you are free to take whatever dinduction your creative mind takes you and Joomla! can help you get there so much more easily than ever before.

Thinking Web publishing? Think Joomla!

Hi all

By the look of all these exciting comments it seems that this is a good to have component for commenting.

Just wondering if there is a length limit i.e if i copied and pasted this messages about 100 time... Well lets not do it a 100 time may be just wrote or may be if i can no longer write i should then copy and paste.

Hmmm interesting, i just wanna get to the point of copying and pasting but i cant, for some odd reasons beyond my level of intelligence i keep on writing crap...

some one please stop me from writing so much junk, just to test the length allowed for writing.

We I think this is long enough.

any ways. I will now stop have fun... I really don't like to stop though... but i should... No want to write... Ops i think i just gave away that I have multiple personality disorder... JOKE, I don't... yes u do.. OPS.

:)

Good work guys well done and thank you for your work.

These buttons will be not shown if you're guest and the current comment already voted from same IP or comment was posted with same IP as yours. I've already described this behavior on our support forum - try to search and you will found more detailed explanation.

It WORKS like a CHARM !!! It took me less than 3 minutes to move away from ChronoComments to JComments with all my existing 900+ comments in place and functioning. This is a great component and thank you for providing the ability to import from other comment systems. Also JComments makes my pages load much faster than with ChronoComments. GREAT WORK, GREAT COMPONENT !!!!

In this case you have to import comments manually. The JComments supports comments import from all of the most popular Joomla extensions. But if you have your own extension you could import comments manually. All comments are stored in jos_jcomments table. Its structure is very simple and I think you could comments easy (may be with SQL-query).

p.s. Feel free to contact me (you can find my email in JComments xml-manifests).
